DIPLOMA IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE
The program is designed to prepare students for higher education within or outside the country in English language. The course is taught in 4 trimesters, preparing students to pass the DEL exam through the reinforcement of six skills (reading, writing, listening, conversation, grammar and vocabulary).
Each instructors is specialized in the taught skill. The course is taught 5 days a week, and each day the student is required to follow two 45 minutes lessons.
Karwan is devoted to quality education and therefore our languages courses have a maximum of 25 students per class which ensures interaction, and proper practice of language skills during the classes.
Students Approval Requirements
a. Age: 18 or above
b. Have completed 2 Semester of pre-DEL or Foundation English Program, or demonstrate relevant skills. If this cannot be proved an entrance exam is required. There is also the option to participate in one of the Karwan Institute courses to acquire the relevant skills demanded. To follow DEL program.
c. Entry test (required for those students not able to prove necessary skills) & Interview (compulsory).
d. Have minimum 2 hours outside class to prepare assignments given by the department
